The first Fall holiday is almost here, and people everywhere are gearing up for trick-or-treaters with fun-sized candy, festive décor, and fabulous parties. Halloween ushers in the season for entertaining, with Thanksgiving and Christmas not far behind it. If the holidays aren’t reason enough to invite friends and family over for a dinner party, perhaps some of these beautiful, seasonal table settings are.
Pumpkins.
Halloween is not complete without jack-o-lanterns and pumpkins, and since they come in a variety of sizes and colors, they can be used to decorate a dinner table in many ways.
While large pumpkins make great table centerpieces, individual place settings can take advantage of the miniature versions. This elegant setting pairs orange mini pumpkins with the green and white dishes to create a lively contrast. A touch of ivy adds extra texture.
Another design that uses the smaller pumpkins to create individual place settings is this stylish black and gold scheme. In addition to leaves and pinecones, deciduous trees drop seeds in the form of nuts, such as acorns and chestnuts. These can be used as great vase filler, alone or paired with candles. Autumn is often synonymous with rustic décor, and easy way to create a great eclectic tablescape is by using glass jars and burlap. This design features burlap as a table runner down the middle of the table, topped with jars filled with candles. T
